I've decided to make a comic strip centered around Thomas.. because he always has something funny to share or some deep insight. We're naming it the 'Purple Dragon' after an analogy he often uses.
This stems from the purple dragon theory.
Purple Dragon:
If we were hanging out and I suddenly pulled an 18 foot purple dragon out of my ass and it was there, and real. You can smell the brimstone, among other things. You can feel the heat of its breath, and you can hear it, you can touch it. However seconds after I took it out of my ass, I quickly and deftly put it back. 10 minutes later, you will not remember it happened at all. So many base beliefs have to change in order to accept it that the brain just gives up and chooses not to remember it. I have actually seen this type of thing happen. OK, not the actual purple dragon, but I have seen people edit what they remember in order not to have it threaten their reality.
So now some of my friends call it a purple dragon when they see people doing it.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
